Young Person Support Workers needed for our client in the Exeter Area.
24 hour shifts with Sleep in.
Do you have what it takes to offer guidence and support to young people that are living in supported homes and growing their independence, then we hafve the job for you.
Duties:
Monitoring young persons ability to manage every-day living, education, training or employment
Offer support when needed, help develop appropriate relationships/ friendships
Preparing and carry out an agreed plan of working for young persons
Complete and monitor weekly and monthly reports and person-centred planning
Support young persons with attending meetings and relevant professional meetings
Attend planning meetings and generating relevant information if required
Carry out daily and weekly health and safety checks with the young person
Work with the young person on financial planning and weekly payment allowance
Attend meetings and training as required
Carry out general administration and housekeeping duties
Ensure young persons in the service are effectively safeguarded.
We are looking for people with pervious experience working with young people and are happy to work 24 hour shifts with sleep. My client works on a 3 week rolling rota.
You will ideally have NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care ( Children & Young people) or caring for Children and Young people.
