We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our Rough Sleeping Hub team. It’s a safe, welcoming space for people who are homeless or at risk, where they can get hot food, take a shower, and get support with the things that really matter – like housing, health, benefits and simply being heard.
What you’ll be doing:
Helping people feel welcome and supported
Giving practical help with benefits, GP sign-ups, housing routes, etc.
Keeping the space safe, friendly, and running smoothly
Working closely with partner services like healthcare and mental health teams
Building trust and positive relationships with people facing tough times
What we’re looking for:
Friendly, approachable and emotionally resilient
Great at listening and staying calm in tricky situations
Able to work well in a team, but confident on your own too
Comfortable using basic IT and keeping notes
Flexible with shifts – including some weekends and early starts
Hourly rate: £13.33 PAYE or £16.36 Umbrella
