Typical Shifts are: Mornings 07:00-14:00 & Afternoons 14:00-21:00 (nights and sleep-ins when required)

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our Redbank House residential service in South Leverton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. We support seven people with learning disabilities and autism, who may exhibit behaviours that challenge. We also specialise in supporting people with Prader-Willi syndrome. We believe everyone should be able to live as independent a life as possible. We support individuals to make decisions about their lives while also encouraging them to respect the different views and needs other people have. Some people have jobs delivering magazines, which provide opportunities to get to know local people. Other activities the residents currently enjoy is music, dance and art classes and we can access other courses depending on what people are interested in.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
