Support Manager (Nursing Homes)

  • Support Manager (NURSE) – Lowestoft, Suffolk – £65,000

    You will need to be a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to oversee the operations and ensure the highest standards of care across our various Nursing Care Homes across Norfolk and Suffolk. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing policies and procedures, and supporting and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding care to our residents.

    Key duties and responsibilities

    * Provide effective leadership and management, including the appropriate people are recruited for the key roles and ensure they are trained to complete their role.

    * Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

    * Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development. Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

    * Ensure that the homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.

    Skills and attributes

    * NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.

    * Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting.

    * Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry.

    * Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    * Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents.

    * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
