Flintshire County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Pathways and Permanence team, focusing on Children Looked After. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a vital role in our team, bringing your expertise to support and guide others. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising newly qualified social workers, student social workers, and social work assistants, helping them grow and develop in their roles.
Handling more complex cases, performing thorough assessments, and managing risks effectively.
Providing casework supervision to other team members, ensuring high standards of practice and care.
Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
Contributing to the overall development of the team, sharing your knowledge and experience.Requirements:
A degree in Social Work and CPEL (or equivalent qualification).
A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in social work.
Registration with Social Care Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.How to Apply:
