Domus Recruitment are searching for a Registered Area Manager who is looking for an exciting role with my client in Somerset! Your role would consist of overseeing 9 small services that support adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ABI and Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
Work in a consistent and positive way with managers and other team members to ensure people always receive a great service from the whole team. Ensure all organisation policies and specific agreed ways of working in the service are followed.
Actively lead the team’s development by coaching and training colleagues in person centred support practices, appraisals, and supervision, giving and acting on received feedback; management of risks of the individual(s) they support through understanding what is important to the individual(s), involving their families, wherever possible, and ensuring decisions are accurately recorded.
To have a full understanding of the MCA, how to assess capacity, the best interest decision making process, who to involve, how to involve and who needs to be informed and updated.
To have a full understanding of CQC, their requirements and how to report any abuse and/or other related actions.
Key Requirements:
Experience of supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or complex needs.
Previous CQC registration
Experience in multisite management.
Experience in MAPA (CPI and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support)
Proven time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
A high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external stakeholders.
A good understanding of commercial and financial principles and practices.
Level 5 – Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
