The role reports directly to the Operational Lead, Landlord Services and is directly responsible for all housing management services and staff, including ASB services and operational resident engagement activities.
At inception stage, the role will lead three staff who are senior professionals in Housing Management, ASB and Resident Engagement.
The role will lead a further 9 people and a number of apprentices as we build our talent for tomorrow.
The role will be responsible for the delivery of excellent services in voids, lettings and all aspects of tenancy management in line with legal requirements, Regulatory Standards, best practice and housing policies.
You will lead a range of professional staff to deliver the management service to residents, including commissioning and monitoring service contracts and service agreements relating to Council housing.
The role will be the subject matter expert and technical advisor on voids, lettings, housing management, combatting ASB and promoting resident engagement. You will develop policy and practice, reporting regularly to Housing Board on a range of services and key performance measures. What you need:
QSW Status – including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
A minimum of 2 years’ experience
