We are seeking a committed Housing Support Worker for a Housing Association in Coventry to provide housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, facilitate move-on outcomes, and promote independence. This temporary role has the potential to become a permanent position.
THE ROLE:
The Housing Support Worker is responsible for delivering effective support plans and maintaining properties to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with referral agencies to generate referrals for the service.
Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans with service users.
Ensure properties are adequately equipped, maintained, and furnished.
Issue correct tenure and support agreements, ensuring compliance from service users.
Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain regular contact with service users as per service requirements.
Maximize rent collection and minimize rent arrears in line with targets.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a housing support role and must meet the following requirements:
Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and business insurance.
Enhanced DBS certification for working with adults.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and engage in lone working situations.
Experience in conducting assessments of service users’ needs and risks.
THE CONTRACT:
40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (1 Saturday a month)

Pay rate: £16.50 to £17.00 LTD / £14.07 to £14.49 PAYE (inc. holiday)
