We are looking for a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association in Lincoln/Newark/Grantham, providing vital support to vulnerable individuals to promote independence and achieve positive move-on outcomes. This is a temporary role with the potential for a permanent position.
THE ROLE:
As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to individuals, ensuring properties are well-maintained and service users receive effective support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with referral agencies to generate referrals for the service.
Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans with service users.
Ensure properties are adequately equipped, maintained, and furnished.
Issue correct tenure and support agreements, ensuring compliance from service users.
Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain regular contact with service users as per service requirements.
Maximize rent collection and minimize rent arrears in line with targets.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a housing support role, a valid driver’s license, their own vehicle, and business insurance.
Additional Requirements:
Enhanced DBS certification for working with adults.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage lone working situations.
Experience conducting assessments of service users’ needs and risks.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to engage in audits.
THE CONTRACT:
40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (1 Saturday a month)

Pay rate: £16.50 to £17.00 LTD / £14.07 to £14.49 PAYE (inc. holiday)
