Family Support Worker
Job Description
This company is seeking a Family Support Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising family contacts and completing direct work with children, as well as supporting social work tasks. The Family Support Worker will need to have excellent communication skills as they will be working with young people and their families. They will also need to have strong assessment skills in order to aid social workers with assessments. Additionally, the Family Support Worker will need to be able to write reports on contacts, assessments and direct work with children.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise family contacts
Complete direct work with children

Communicate effectively with young people and their families

Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Strong assessment skills
Ability to write reports
Experience working with young people and their families
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Family Support Worker will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
