Family Support Worker
We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join an established team in the Barnsley area.
This position is:
* 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension
* £17.12 ltd per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
The primary responsibility of this role is to work holistically with the whole family, assessing strengths and needs and coordinating support for each family member. You will hold a caseload of up to 15 families, and receive bi-monthly supervision, working as part of a team aligned to the family hubs.
** Driving is essential to this position so we are looking for candidates with a full clean driving license and access to their own vehicle with business insurance. **
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* You must have experience working with children, young people and families
* Managing risk and an excellent knowledge of safeguarding and thresholds of intervention are essential for the position.
* You must have a valid UK driving license
