I am working with a domiciliary care provider in North Leeds that are recruiting for an experienced deputy manager to work hand in hand with their registered manager. This role requires being responsible for managing a team of 30 care staff.

Deputy Manager Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor the team to deliver outstanding care, balancing business growth with community support and high operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment, training, and retention policies to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Oversee performance management, including supervision, appraisals, and workforce planning to meet KPIs and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain effective communication channels to engage staff in operational and strategic developments.
• Monitor service quality through audits, reporting, and proactive quality improvement plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, cooperating with regulatory bodies and addressing any areas of dissatisfaction or underperformance.
• Support business development initiatives, including preparing reports, developing promotional materials, and enhancing service delivery systems.
Deputy Manager Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager in the domiciliary/live-in care sector.
• Must be willing to work toward/achieved a Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
• Must have a UK Driving Licence and use of own car.
