Childrens SEN Driver
We are currently recruiting for a Driver to join the SEN Transport service in the Liverpool area. You will be required to transport children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to and from school across the area.
This position is:
* Initial contract until July 2025
* 24.5 hours per week
The role will consist of morning shifts which start at 8am until all the children have been transport to school, and the afternoon shift which start at 2.30pm until all the children are transported home.
You will be responsible for completing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of shifts. Training will be provided on the Local Authorities transport procedures and policies.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
* Full UK manual licence
* Experience of driving for work
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults or children
* Ability to understand the needs of vulnerable children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and ability to work with tolerance and patience
* Literacy skills
