Our Client Hackney Council, is looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join their Safeguarding and Reviewing Service.
The successful candidate would be primarily responsible for covering both Child Protection and Looked After Children Processes. This would include duty safeguarding consultations, as well as chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews as per the job and person specification. This role provides an opportunity to further shape the quality assurance and practice across both child protection and Looked After Children’s services in Hackney.
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, committed and passionate worker, who will bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of working with vulnerable children and families, and who will have sound knowledge of services from the front door, through to long term work, Looked After Children, care leavers and foster carers.

Candidates must have:
a relevant professional social work degree
current registration with Social Work England
5 years post qualifying experience experience of managing and developing staff and best practice
evidence of continuing professional development
