An Elderly Residential Care Home are seeking a Team Leader to join their excellent team in Ickenham, London.
This is a well-ran, 25 bedded Care Home that is rated “Good” by CQC and is striving for an “Outstanding” rating. The ideal candidate will have experience working within Elderly Residential Care Homes.
This role will consist off three 12 hour shifts one week and four 12 hour shifts the next. Weeks with 4 shifts will include an ‘Admin day’ where you will have time to focus on catching up on any admin that needs to be done such as writing Care Plans.
Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:
Assist in managing team of carers in the home in order to reach or exceed goals
Ensuring the provision of high-quality care
Medication cycle skills (ordering, receiving, carry forward, auditing)
Ensure each resident’s care plan and daily records are up to date.
Team Leader Requirements:
Previous experience working within Elderly Care Homes
Good knowledge of CQC standards
The ability to write detailed care plans
Passion to be a leader and develop your career
Flexible working hours
Medication cycle skills (ordering, receiving, carry forward, auditing)
A caring and positive attitude
