Are you passionate about supporting people to live their best lives? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker at our day centre in Washington. We provide essential care for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health and behavioural support needs. This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals while developing your skills in a rewarding environment.
The Role: As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a compassionate team delivering person-centred care. Your role includes:
Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living skills
Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and make informed choices
Building strong relationships with customers and their families
Contributing to care plans and ensuring all needs are met in a respectful and empowering way
Working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!What We’re Looking For: We believe attitude, values, and flexibility are key! As a Support Worker, you’ll need to:
Treat customers, families, and colleagues with dignity, respect, and empathy
Demonstrate compassion in all aspects of care
Be flexible with your approach to work and willing to support individuals with a range of needs
Have a positive, enabling outlook with a genuine desire to go the extra mileExperience isn’t always necessary, but training in areas like Safe Handling of Medication, Moving & Assisting, or First Aid is a bonus. Most importantly, we want individuals who are committed to making a difference and thrive in a supportive team environment.
