Eden Brown Synergy has exciting opportunity for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (ASD) to join a MDT delivering services within educational settings, family hubs and home visits.
Permanent: (Full Time | Part Time |Flexible)
The Speech and Language Therapist would be required to undertake Autism diagnostic assessments for 3 days per week as part of the Multi-disciplinary team, writing reports with follow the DSM5 and supporting a decision as part of the Multi-disciplinary team.
The post can focus exclusively in this area or, at the successful applicants request, include other SLT service delivery activities.
The MDT would consist of: Speech and Language Therapist Lead; Specialist, Senior and Junior SLTs; Early Years Teacher; Speech and Language Therapy Assistants; all of whom are supported by a Business Support Team.
To be considered for this role the Speech and Language Therapist would have:
A Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Degree or Masters.
Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
At least 2+ years’ experience working as an Speech and Language Therapist with children, young people, their families and the Multi-agency team.
Experience working with children and young people with an ASD diagnosisPreferably:
Preferably training relevant to the role (ADOS)
Experience in undertaking Autistic diagnostic assessments and writing reports.
Experience supervising and coaching others.
Experience in monitoring service outcomes.
Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
