About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Care Home Manager with a valid NMC Nursing PIN to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality care for our residents and supporting the Care Home Manager in the smooth running of the home.
As Deputy Manager, you will combine clinical expertise with leadership skills, ensuring compliance with care regulations, managing staff, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Care Home Manager with the overall management of the care home, ensuring a safe, high-quality care environment.
Lead and motivate the care team, offering guidance, supervision, and support.
Monitor and ensure the delivery of personalized care plans in line with residents’ individual needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing and health regulations.
Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Carry out clinical audits and assessments, ensuring continuous improvement in care standards.
Step into the role of Care Home Manager in their absence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold a valid NMC PIN (Registered Nurse).
Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a care home or healthcare setting is essential.
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
