Qualified Social Worker – Manchester City Council – Cared for Children Team – £35ph
We are looking for 2 experienced social workers to join our cared for children social work team. We work with young people who are looked after by the local authority up to the age of 18 years of age. You will join a service of 7 teams with each team consisting of an experienced team manager, advance practitioner and 6 social workers. You will have receive excellent support, monthly supervision provided by an experienced team manager, access to training and a manageable caseload.
You will have experience of permanence planning, care planning, transition and preparing young people for adulthood. You will be passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for our care experienced children and young people, understanding and recognising your role as part of the child’s corporate family.
The post is based at Etrop Court in Wythenshawe. There is free parking available in the vicinity
