Service Care Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working on behalf of Nottingham County Council working as a Support Worker within one of our Elderly Residential Homes.

Role Overview: As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients, helping them to live as independently as possible in their own homes or within our care facilities. Your role will be vital in ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Hours of work: this role is currently working days between 9am-3pm for 30h per week
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities.
Administering medication as prescribed (with appropriate training).
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding where necessary.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the client’s environment.
Monitoring and recording the health and well-being of clients.
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.Requirements:
A caring and compassionate nature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to undergo training and professional development.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is desirable.Rate: £14.24ph
