Children’s Social Worker
Blackpool are currently seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their team in Blackpool. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing advice, support, and triage/screen requests for support and phone calls to children services. This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and is central to triaging requests for support for children and their families in Blackpool.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice, support, and triage/screen requests for support and phone calls to children services
Ensure that referrals are signposted to the appropriate service in line with the Levels of Need
Input into children’s services data systems (Mosaic, ICS)
Write concise, fit for purpose reports/court statements and ability to maintain up to date and accurate records
Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in statutory children’s social work
Social Work Degree or equivalent
Enhanced DBS
