Job Description
This company is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Work Assistant to join their team. As a Social Work Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to social workers in the assessment and care management of vulnerable adults and children. You will work closely with service users and their families to ensure their needs are met and their rights are protected.
Key Responsibilities
Assist social workers in the assessment and care management of vulnerable adults and children
Work with service users and their families to identify their needs and develop care plans
Provide practical and emotional support to service users and their families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Attend meetings and reviews as required
Requirements
Experience working in a social care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
