Implementation Manager

  • It’s exciting times at Voyage Care with huge transformational projects happening, therefore we are currently recruiting for an Implementation Manager to join our growing team.
    In this role you will work closely with our customers and key stakeholders during the implementation process and ensure that the customer experience is positive, within a changing environment. We’re looking for a proactive and diverse person that can connect with our customers for this role. You will travel across the UK to various services/locations with overnight stays.
    You will be helping to manage change and plan for the future, in line with Voyage Care’s goals and priorities. You will work primarily alongside the Project Manager and Change Manager on various projects as required. The team will be involved in every stage of the implementation lifecycle, from arranging initial contact, to assisting in the direction of the project and ensuring the customer is satisfied with the product and level of service they receive.  

    Responsibilities of the role:

    Be based for a minimum of 4 days at a service during the working week across regions to support services with implementation.
     
    To be the ‘on the ground’ face of transformational change for Operational teams, and the key contact for Group Support teams and key stakeholders during implementation.
     
    Collate and manage relevant data required to ensure successful implementation.  
     
    Be involved in training and coaching new and existing staff across the business and support their understanding and first use of new/changing processes, including policies and systems being Implemented. 
     
    Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the transformational change being implemented.  
     
    Assist with configuring, customising systems, data and processes within the project in relation to customer needs. 
     
    Assist with data preparation activities as directed by the Project Manager.  
     
    Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with an aptitude for managing data.  
     
    Deploy an implementation plan in relation to the implementation lifecycle, and in harmony with the project plan.  
     
    Complete systems testing as required.  
     
    Participate in meetings with a range of stakeholders’ requirements, collate feedback and hold weekly implementation meetings locally with those involved.  
     
    As part of implementation, identify training needs or local challenges and help resolve these gaps.  
     
    Help with documenting business processes and provide clearly defined workflow documents and present to stakeholders when necessary. 
     
    Able to respond to changes and adapt to various demands including visiting different services and working out of hours as and when business needs require it. 
     
    Assist with the creation and distribution of staff logins and the creation of records for new profiles. 
     
    Support the development of audits, interfacing and integration of existing systems including setting up NFC tags. 
     
    Deliver training to large groups of staff based at services, understanding different learning styles and having the ability to adapt to learner needs. 
     
    Work with the Project Manager and Learning and Development to create and produce e-learning modules and training materials.
     
    Have a detailed technical understanding of the system being implemented and its design, with awareness of the impact any changes made will have. 
    What we’re looking for:
    Essential:
    A relevant qualification to degree level or equivalent work experience 
    Experience of delivering projects or programmes working with multiple stakeholders
    Has an understanding of different learning styles 
    Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Visio etc.) 
    Flexibility to working outside of standard office hours, and travel to and from various sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays 
    The ability to talk and present confidently to a range of audiences including large groups. 
    A commitment to provide a high-quality service to Voyage Care 
    Curious and driven to understand processes relating to the delivery of care 
    Has patience and ability to try different methods of approach 
    Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach 

    Desirable:
    Agile Project Management Foundation Certification 
    Familiarity with project management best practices 
    Experience of large-scale digital project implementation 
    Worked in a similar role within the health and social care environment
