Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) to work within Haringey Council.
Job Purpose
The AMHP as required by the Mental Health Act is based at the centralised Duty Hub at St Ann’s Hospital, carrying out mental health act assessments as part of a duty rota.
To liase with GP’s and other key partner agencies to develop and maintain multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working.
To provide a high quality comprehensive assessment for Service users, involving as appropriate the views and input from nearest relatives, carers, service providers and partner agencies
To work closely with the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, where appropriate carry out joint assessments and consider admission to hospital either formally or informally, or refer/signpost to alternative least restrictive alternatives to admissionYou must be trained and currently approved as an AMHP.
You will need to be:
SWE registered
